This piece is an exploration of diagrammatic representation - inspired by musical notation, architectural diagrams, mathematics and mappings of land and space. It integrates both experimental sensibilities and ancient qualities. Balancing both the future and the past in a single form. This is a digital print. It is intended to be displayed partially scrolled and measures 53"x26". When it is unscrolled it measures 82"x26". I just want to thank Dr. Saul Arber. He adopted this piece after viewing it at the X-initiative. His concepts about the piece were very insightful and his enthusiasm for the work was evident in his email.
Also, he generously offered 1 year of free medical care in exchange for the piece. I thought this was an exceptional gesture and was incredibly impressed by his creative approach to the exchange and his spirit of giving.
