These two photographs of contemporary 'vanities' are part of a series of works using ice faces. They question man's relationship to nature, a subject that is becoming increasingly important. Thierry Farcy, painter, photographer and sculptor, was born in Vire, France. He now lives and works in Caen, in Normandy.
