Jeff Hoppa’s paintings on wooden panels and works on paper celebrate the history of exploration, the discovery of significant form in the natural world and the metamorphic potential of artistic abstraction. His inspirations include: monzogranite rock outcroppings at Joshua Tree National Park in California; inner ear bones of narwhals at The American Museum of Natural History; lunar photography from the Apollo space program; Kwakiutl masks from the Pacific Northwest, to name a few.

Jeff earned his MFA in Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York in 2004 and has been a member of EFA Studios since 2006.
