Joan Fitzsimmons

Joan Fitzsimmons' work is included in The Brooklyn Museum of American Art, Brooklyn, NY;The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, CA ;The Center for Photography at Woodstock, collection housed at SUNY, New Paltz, NY; and The William Benton Museum of Art, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT; among others. She has been a recipient of grants from Artslink (CEC International Partners) which allowed her to collaborate with artists and organizations in Poland. She received both a Weir Farm Visiting Artist Grant and Artist Residency. Most recently Fitzsimmons has been awarded a Puffin Foundation Artist Grant, as well as a grant from The Kittredge Fund to continue the work that resulted from her visit to Poland.
