What is history? What's in a name? Can you have a relationship with an object?

These painting are not for sale, but people have been.

I have placed a series of oil paintings based on the found graphics in old postage stamps. They range in size from 3"x 3" to 30" x 40". One was commissioned. I started this project in 2002. I asked people or institutions to adopt them and give them a home. To be "good enough mother." This program has a similar end. Somethings are not for sale, by me or the adoptee. My requirement is that you name, if has no name, and and communicate that to me.

My work is about many things--play, connections, ephemeral...

I'm an artist, poet, and art historian. I was born in California. I currently live in NYC. I'm a cross media artist with international exhibtions.
