Jeremy Bell
For this series of works, I chose to focus on the connections that are found between some of subjects such as Bees, violins, the universe, and concepts that I have drawn my own connections with such as creation and destruction, death, transcendence, and spirituality.
Questions came to mind like; what connects one thing to another? How do these relationships come to exist? Do we give them meaning by our own associations or is it inherently there? The concept of connection is very interesting to me, it can be quite ambiguous and other times very logical. Some connections are very apparent, and others are very subtle, at times almost non-existent.
