The artist, Jean Wolff, writes:

Alison is a fellow artist who is a sculptor. She sent me a heartfelt email asking to adopt this work and was so enthralled in her request that it seemed like the perfect match.

Alison and her husband Ralph, recently picked up the painting and were so moved by the painting that it made me thrilled to know that the work was going to a home where it would be cherished.

The adoption process has been a great way to create a community within the artist's network, but also have the work get out into the world and have a different kind of dialog within it.
