The artist, Marcy Freedman, writes:
I was happy to receive this request from Debbi . . . but a bit surprised. You see, Debbi runs an art gallery, and I think of people who run art galleries as folks who must be concerned with making money from art, and this poster commemorates an event in which an artist (me!) gave money away! But Debbi's emails won me over completely. She has noble goals and does many fine things for her community. I am quite pleased that she plans to frame my poster and hang it in her gallery.
