The artist could not have been more open or accommodating. I liked the drawing as soon as I saw it. So I was really very happy when it was given to me. When I then was able to place it and live with it, it reminded and reminds me of so many other things and associations that it is a more of a pathway than a drawing. There really isn't any substitute for the handmade thing, guided by intelligence and care.
