Continious line drawing on paper mounted to canvas. Drawing is done in conte pencil and then painted with acrylic. These time-based works involve drawing one continuous line to form various images in a somewhat subversive approach. As the line is followed through the drawing the intricacy of the line is contrasted by the simplicity of the images depicted. The exercise is one that can be remembered from most early art classes however the scale and ambition of the concept has been taken to a different level.

This is the message that I received from Mr. Gorham. There was interest in the work from several people that I felt would be wonderful individuals to care for the piece. In the end Mr. Gorham's intentions seemed to touch the widest group of people. Thanks to everyone, more work will be posted soon.
I would really like to have this in my classroom to teach from. If you read about my other adoptions you will see that the FAAN has really changed my school year. If adopted I promise to exhibit it with a series of childens drawing based on your method at a local art show in April My gade 5 class wrote a press release about our last adoption with the help of retired reporter and it was published with photos in three local papers as well as being reported on local and national radio as well as local television.
