This self portrait is drawn onto fabric, painted, cut out,and glued onto a tiny sewing kit,which includes scissors multicolored threads, needles, even a safty pin. The objects in the box are partially visable through the painted fabric. Think of it as a kind of monument to domestic life and women's work. I got so excited by changing the fabric portraits into 3D objects,I made five today.
