This adoption had the added bonus of making a new friend in addition to receiving a stellar photograph.
In an email to David, I mentioned that I was visiting New York in a few days to go to MOMA and the Whitney museums. And to my surprise, he invited me to do a "hand-off" of the print at his apartment. What a wonderful gesture of trust! I enjoyed seeing other works of his adorning the walls, including one that was selected for an exhibition curated by Cindy Sherman! Talk about a stamp of approval.
I've had "Nipples" archivally framed, (my framer had a good chuckle over the title). It's hanging in a prime spot in my condo and I really want to thank David and FAAN for this cool addition to my contemporary collection.

Rob wrote to me with many compliments, specifically the focal point of the work-that being it's title. He mentioned he and his partner entertain frequently and 'nipples' would be seen by a steady stream of artists, writers and musicians. Yea! Thought raised Lutheran Rob wrote that he appreciates all things of a Catholic perspective. He promised to have it archivally framed as well... We met over iced coffee in my home and struck up a friendship. Rob's a great guy and couldn't have been more appreciative. A terrific first adoption!
Several weeks later I got a shot of Nipples beautifully framed and hanging in Rob and his partner's home.
