A most awesome artist from the NYC area. She is kind and went to RISD which is one of my favorite art schools (along with Yale where I went to school). I really enjoyed the manipulation of commonplace photographs and the portrayal of absence by using a contradictory material "shadow."

I traded with Niki this piece for my "great deeds against the dead" photograph. Makes me want to build more LEGO sculptures soon!

I received it on a Saturday morning and found it to be one of the exquisite pieces of artwork. I ended up doing a video art collaboration project with her in her Queens apt and invited her to the lovely FAAN meeting at Joe's Shanghai during early April :) It was a good experience and Niki is a blessing for the art world.

I hope to show my piece from her in a future contemporary museum which I currently working on building.
